Available to order now for $49.99.
HyperX continues to build on the heritage of their extremely popular Cloud series of headsets by announcing the new HyperX Cloud Stinger.
The HyperX Cloud Stinger is light headset, with a weight checking in under 10 ounces. The two 50mm drivers can rotate 90 degrees, which means folding flat for transport, being neck friendly, and when in use directed right at the ear. The noise-cancelling mic can be muted by flipping it up, and there is a volume slider on the underside of right ear.
Kingston is promising the earpads as being comfortable by way of HyperX Signature memory foam. Meanwhile a steel band underpins the whole headband.
The Cloud Stinger uses a 3.5mm connection, which makes it suitable for the PS4, Xbox One (via the controllers) as well mobile devices and the PC. Included with the headset is an extension that splits the mic and audio into a PC-friendly connection.
At $49.99, the Cloud Stinger represents HyperX's entry into the extremely competitive and popular sub $50 gaming headset segment. The Could Stinger is available to order now (do so here).
