'Sid Meier's Civilization: Beyond Earth' Available to Pre-Load Now, Meanwhile, Everyone Can Play 'Civ V' for Free

It's very close now. The next step, a space-worthy step, of a beloved PC game series, 'Sid Meier's Civilization: Beyond Earth' arrives this Friday. Today, 2K Games announced that the new game is up for pre-load on Steam. While pre-ordering the new game will net buyers the Exoplanets map pack pre-order offer, 2K has announced that those who pre-order everyone can play Firaxis' 'Civilization V' for free this week.

From 2K, "If you’re looking to satisfy that Civ itch while you wait, PC players on Steam can play Sid Meier’s Civilization V for FREE starting now through October 23, 2014 at 10:00 AM PDT."
