Not sure if that's a threat or a promise.
Slowly, but surely, E3 2016 is starting to come together, and now that EA has made their big move-andshake for the year, PC Gamer has announced that they'll be taking over the spot that EA vacated and hosting their PC Gaming Show Monday June 13th at 12 Pacific/3 Eastern.
If you had a reflexive cringe at that announcement, don't worry, it's not just you. PC Gamer's well aware that last year's show wasn't exactly a good look for the Master Race. "In 2015 it was really important to us to get a big variety of participants on stage to help convey the spectrum of exciting stuff happening on PC, but an inevitable effect of that was that we ran quite long. This year's show will be more focused, but packed with tons of new announcements and exclusive reveals."
The fact that the show is taking place earlier will also help, since a lot of the problem of last year was a glut of repeat announcements. Wasn't the total problem, mind you--that intro with the Mountain Dew being poured into a wine glass made me want to field goal my laptop--but it was a big one. We'll see if they've learned from any of the other mistakes. In the meantime, enjoy a trailer.
