New project from the 'Starcraft: Ghosts' Lead Environmental Artist.
PC owners will be able to get their hands on Fenix Fire Entertainment's debut title later this month. The indie developer, which was founded by Blizzard and Midway veterans Brian and Anna McRae, announced that their space survival game 'Osiris: New Dawn' will arrive on Steam Early Access come September 28th. Taking place in 2046, players are part of a space colonization team that had to make an emergency landing on a mysterious new planet.
"It’s amazing to finally bring our passion project to gamers everywhere who share our fascination with near-future, space exploration," said Fire Fenix Entertainment CEO Brian McRae. "What started as a simple idea has blossomed into a gaming experience far beyond what we thought was possible, surprising even ourselves and driving us to be more and more ambitious with what is possible in 'Osiris: New Dawn.' I’m looking forward to constructive feedback from players in hopes of improving the experience with full transparency in our Early Access development.”
'Osiris: New Dawn' releases September 28th on Steam Early Access, and is in development for unspecified consoles.
