Because it's not realistic unless you have to schmooze with sponsors on your off days.
We're just more than a week out from the release of 'NBA 2K16,' and 2K Games has released a new video teasing some of the secondary aspects of the game's touted MyCareer game mode. Obviously your MyPlayer is going to spend plenty of time playing basketball, but this video details some of the things you can do when he's not.
The base of operations for MyCareer is the MyCourt, a completely customizable basketball court that can serve as a kind of gallery of your MyPlayer's accomplishments. You can even invite friends over to your court for a quick pickup game or just as a waystation to the Pro-Am game mode.
'NBA 2K16' is also putting more emphasis on what MyPlayers do during their off days. Players can use these days to increase their skills in practice modes, earn some extra money through endorsements, or build up a Rolodex of famous contacts in the business, each of which can offer you little bonuses.
You can check out the full video below, and you can find the latest info on 'NBA 2K16' linked from our Video Game Release Schedule.
