Features local and online multiplayer.
Ahead of the February 13th release date, Nintendo has unleashed on the public a free demo of 'Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate' for the 3DS. (Get the demo here.) I've played this demo (on a New 3DS XL no less), and it's a perfect look into the latest version of this highly addictive franchise. The best feature though demo-wise has to be the support for both local and online multiplayer, which let the player get into a four player mix. Even within the same game players can choose to do their own thing.
