Alien vs. Predator. Jason vs. Leatherface. It's all coming together.
NetherRealm Studios has pulled back the curtain on the DLC kombatants coming to 'Mortal Kombat X' next year in the Kombat Pack 2.
Keeping with the original Kombat Pack's theme of bringing media icons into the fray (a la Jason Voorhees and Predator), Kombat Pack 2 includes two new horror film greats. Leatherface drops in from the Texas Chainsaw Massacre series, and the Alien franchise's Xenomorph is included as well.
In terms of klassic kombatants, the DLC pack brings in four (kind of), starting with drunken master Bo Rai Cho. The klassic kombatants are rounded out with Tri-Borg, who is technically a new name for the franchise, though he wields the power of three series favorites: Cyrax, Sektor, and Robot Smoke. It's unclear whether this cyborg character will be able to perform as any of these old standbys by utilizing the game's character variation system or if Tri-Borg players will be able to change movesets on the fly.
The Kombat Pack 2 will be available in early 2016. You can check out the reveal below.
