A new villain.

Activision has made it official, Kit Harington, famed for portraying Jon Snow in 'Game of Thrones,' will be playing the villain in 'Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.'

From Infinity Ward narrative director Taylor Kurosaki, "Our story is about an epic showdown of opposing forces, and Kit immersed himself into the role and truly became the embodiment of the enemy, the Settlement Defense Front. We can't wait for fans to see Kit play an entirely different kind of character."

In a kind of bonus announcement, Guy Ritchie has also been involved with the production of the game. According to studio head Dave Stohl, as Kit Harington has been doing mo-cap for his role, Guy Ritchie has been assisting with some direction.
