Prove that your Pokémon are more than just numbers in a Pokédex.
Developer Niantic is now rolling out the latest update for 'Pokémon Go,' which adds both support for the long-awaited Pokémon Go Plus accessory and the recently revealed Buddy feature.
Back at the beginning of the month, Niantic announced a Buddy system for 'Pokémon Go' that allows trainers to select one lucky Pokémon to become their Buddy and earn extra Candy just for walking together. Your Buddy Pokémon will appear next to your avatar icon on the game's map screen, so you always know which Pokémon is earning a little bonus Candy while you're out hatching Eggs.
This new update also adds support for the Pokémon Go Plus accessory, launching this week. This peripheral allows players to leave their phones in their pockets while still farming Pokéstops and even catching Pokémon with the press of a button.
