New characters also introduced.
'Gravity Rush 2' won't be taking place in the town of Hekseville. Instead Kat finds herself in a mining settlement called Banga. Led by Lisa, the mobile town comprised of houses and boats is filled with miners that collect gravity ore. Banga regularly docks at other areas in order to sell the ore they've mined and to stock up on supplies.
SCEA associate project manager Nick Accordino also detailed new characters that will be popping up in 'Gravity Rush 2' over at the PlayStation Blog. Kat, who is joined by Syd from the first game, will deal with the leader's adopted daughter Cecie, a no-good merchant named Vogo, and the miners that live in the town.
The announcement ended with a tease of another new location called the Rift Plane. It's said to be a forbidden land filled with unique Nevi, and valuable ore.
'Gravity Rush 2' releases exclusively for PlayStation 4 on December 2nd.
