Warner Bros. Announces New 'Gauntlet' Based On the Classic Series

New co-op dungeon brawler coming to the PC.

Warner Bros. has announced that 'Magicka' and 'Helldivers' developer, Arrowhead Game Studios, is currently working on a new 'Gauntlet.' The new game will feature local and online four-player co-op while retaining the classic top-down view from the original games.

The game will offer the Warrior, Valkyrie, Wizard, and Elf as playable choices, and each will have their strengths and weaknesses. The developer is also teasing a Relics system involving different pieces of gear.

'Gauntlet' is due out September 3rd, but only for the PC. It's up now on Amazon for pre-order for $19.99 but includes a $5 video games credit, a digital comic, and the Giant's Bane weapon as pre-order bonuses.
