'Chariot' is an indie platformer.
What's up for Xbox Live Gold members in October? Something new, that's what. The Xbox One is getting an all-new platformer, 'Chariot' while the Xbox 360 gets two classics. Both 'Battlefield: Bad Company 2' and 'Darksiders 2' are past AAA hits that in spite of being big hits, may not have yet be owned by a large percentage of Gold members. 'Chariot' is free all month, while 'Battlefiled: Bad Company 2' is free from October 1st through October 15th. 'Darksiders 2' follows and is free from October 16th through October 31st.
From Microsoft, "Chariot, the newest ID@Xbox game from Canadian developers Frima, is a couch co-op platformer that can be played alone or with a friend. Players take the role of the brave Princess or her faithful Fiancé as they maneuver the departed king’s coffin-on-wheels through 25 levels set in five vibrant underground environments, with his majesty’s ghost giving them a piece of his mind every step of the way. Filled to the brim with emergent physics-based gameplay, Chariot offers hours of exciting exploration, fast-paced ride sequences and mountains upon mountains of loot!"
