New screenshots from the anticipated remake.
Square Enix is having a predictably busy TGS 2016, and have shown off new screenshots of the upcoming 'Final Fantasy XII' remaster called 'The Zodiac Age.' The new screens showcase what cutscenes and gameplay will look like in the PS2 remake. It will also mark the first time that North American players will be able to experience the Zodiac Job System, which was introduced in the 2007 international re-release of 'XII.'
'Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age' will feature several enhancements that should make it the definitive way to play Square Enix's beloved JRPG. Shortened load times, auto-save, and a new battle trial mode (that allows players to take place in up to 100 successive battles) are the big additions. The soundtrack has also been remastered, but players will have the option to switch back to the original if they want.
