'The Witcher 2' & 'The Gamers: Director's Cut' also can be had for free with some effort.
Today, gog.com kicked off their 2014 DRM-free sale, which features 700+ games up to 90% off, flash deals, deep-discount daily bundles, and multiple free gifts. Chief among these free gifts today is 'Mount & Blade' and the rest of the 'Mount & Blade' series can be had at 75% off. Meanwhile, for those willing to go to the site every day for the next seven days, (to collect the daily stamp), 'The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings' and 'The Gamers: Director's Cut' will be free as well.
Games like 'Dreamfall Chapters: Longest Journey,' 'Mark of the Ninja' and 'Rogue Legacy' look to be regular flash sales, which means now is the time stock up on excellent DRM free PC games. The DRM free aspects means that those travelling this holiday period won't need constant internet access to play their purchased games. Even the classic 'Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri Planetary Pack' is on sale for only $2.99.
