Better get your REDcard ready.
Update: Add it's gone. On Target.com the NES Classic Edition has gone from "preorder now" to "coming soon."
Original article text follows.
The 'NES Classic Edition' has to be one of the most highly anticipated pieces of retro gaming hardware to date, (see some reasons why here), but so far, it's been a tough item to preorder in North America. Amazon hasn't yet offered a preorder options, but today, Target opened up preorders of the console. (See here).
The controller is listed as well but as a "coming soon item." (See here).
The console is priced at $59.99, and Target offers free shipping on orders over $25. That said, be sure to get all of the details (address, payment, etc.) sorted out before ordering. Changing such details on a preorder tends to mean cancelling.
