'Republique' Brings Hope To The PS4 In March

With a brand new control scheme, too.

Camouflaj's 'Republique' was one of those mobile titles everyone couldn't shut up about when it launched a couple of years back, but as the wait between episodes stretched out further and further (A remastered PC port of the first three episodes came out February of last year; Episode 4 JUST released this month), the buzz went dead silent. Hopefully, this news should jump start things again: Camouflaj is bringing 'Republique' to the PS4.

More than that, however, the game is being overhauled for the console release. Instead of the point-and-click system of the PC/Mobile versions, the PS4 version will allow for full Dual Shock control over Hope, getting the game much much closer to its OG 'Metal Gear' roots than ever before.

The game will hit on March 22nd, released digitally on the PSN and, as a pleasant surprise, as a physical copy at retailers. For right now, here's the first teaser trailer, showing off the new control scheme.
