Get ready for a whole line of 'Halo' headsets.
The pre-E3 peaks continue as ASTRO Gaming, known as a major player in high end gaming headsets with models like the Wireless A50, will develop exclusive gear ("Cortana in your years, yo!") inspired by 'Halo.' The partnership involves Skullcandy/ASTRO Gaming, Microsoft, and current 'Halo' developer, 343 Industries.
Aron Drayer, VP of Marketing, ASTRO Gaming, "Few game franchises have ever pushed the boundaries of our imagination quite like Halo. With its robust online multiplayer features, compelling storyline, incredibly detailed gameplay audio and inspiring musical score -- Halo delivers at every level. ASTRO Gaming and Skullcandy are well-known for our ability to deliver unsurpassed audio fidelity with a distinctly gaming-centric point of view. Our goal is to take the Halo experience to an entirely new level with a recreation of the franchise’s signature sound and booming score exactly as it was intended by the developer."
More details, like specific product descriptions are expected at E3, but with ASTRO Gaming, 'Halo' fans can look forward to a series of premiere headesets that are compatible with the Xbox One.
