The game is afoot.
We're a month away from the next installment of the Sherlock Holmes series of games, 'Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter.' To give players a short introduction to some of the new mechanics, the PlayStation YouTube channel has released an 11-minute gameplay video for the upcoming title.
Much of the gameplay should look familiar for those who played 2014's 'Crimes & Punishments.' One new feature that is highlighted is the semi-open world feel that this new title is taking. Players will be able to explore the streets of London around 221B Baker Street, and Sherlock will have to ask around to find his way to a crime scene when he travels to a new location.
Another gameplay feature in 'The Devil's Daughter' is character switching. When Sherlock recruits his street urchin accomplice Wiggins to tail a target, control switches over to the boy so the player can follow the mark themselves.
Throughout the 11 minutes, the gameplay video touches on the different information gathering tools at the player's disposal as Sherlock walks through different aspects of the game's opening mystery.
You can check out the full gameplay video below. 'Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter' will be available June 10.
