Playstation always wanted its own 'Gears of War.'
Sony streamed a quick, uncut three minutes of 'The Order: 1886' gameplay footage earlier today through Twitch. Catch it all again through a third-party Youtube capture below. Be aware, the Twitch feed wasn't very consistent, so much of the frame-rate issues you see in the video can be attributed to that. The game is reportedly set to run at 30 frames-per-second.
There you have it. Laser guns, healing concoctions and mustaches, all just a layering on some pretty standard cover-based third-person shooting. Above everything else, though, it's real pretty.
'The Order: 1886,' announced last year as a PS4 exclusive, doesn't have anything close to a release date yet. Expect more details and footage from this year's E3.
