Development already in progress.
Episode Six of Telltale's 'Game of Thrones' just released this past week, as every pharmacist might have noticed by the increase in Zoloft prescriptions since Tuesday. Considering how the season ended, and nope, we're not touching those spoilers with a 50 foot pole, you may be wondering if we'll get to ever pick up where things left off. Thankfully, via an exclusive interview with Hollywood Report, Telltale CEO Kevin Bruner just gave everybody reason to relax: House Forrester, or what's left of it, will be back for another season.
"When we initially announced the series in 2013, we let everyone know this would be a multi-title, multiyear partnership with HBO. After this week's finale, I'm pleased to officially confirm that there will be a second season of Telltale's 'Game of Thrones' series, and that it's currently in development."
Naturally, details are thin on the ground, aside from the fact that Telltale won't be abandoning all the loose ends left from the finale any time soon: "The questions left on the table at the conclusion of season one, who survived and who didn't, as well as all the other choices you made play a huge role in the second season. We've been planning the second season all along, but I really shouldn't be revealing more than that."
That's wonderful news, because what happened to [redacted] was bull and if [redacted] doesn't get [redacted] after what happened at [redacted] during the [redacted], I'd be [redacted][redacted].
