You don't even need to rewind time to help.
'Life Is Strange' was, besides being one of the best and most poignant games of the last decade, very heavy in its themes of bullying, of friendship, of the tiny graces that would make so many young lives better. Square Enix is apparently looking to take that message out of the game and into the real world, as they've launched a new social media campaign based on the in-game photo contest, titled "Everyday Heroes".
The real thing isn't a photo contest so much as a simple opportunity for people to share their memories and experiences with people who've touched their lives, overcame adversity, helped someone who needed helping, and generally, the folks who've been the Max Caulfield of someone else's life. In exchange for sharing the memories online, every day from now until January 19th, for every post made on social media the hashtag #EverydayHeroes, Square Enix will make a donation to PACER's National Bullying Prevention Center.
Check out the video below--narrated by Ashly Burch who plays Chloe in the game--for more info. And, naturally, one would be remiss to mention you definitely should play the game at some point.
