Even if you don't have PS Plus.
The free-to-play tank combat multiplayer game 'World of Tanks' will be rolling onto PS4 next year, but the developers are giving every PS4 owner the chance to test-drive the title with an open beta running December 4–6, publisher Wargaming announced.
Come that weekend, anyone with a PS4 can download the game and get started shelling opponents in 15-on-15 tank combat. Progress earned during the open beta will also carry over to the full launch, so players can get a head start on racking up experience points.
Beta players will also receive an exclusive PlayStation 20th anniversary light tank, complete with a special color scheme inspired by last year's PlayStation anniversary festivities.
Attendees to PlayStation Experience, which is running that same weekend, will be able to try out the PS4 version of the game as well at the 'World of Tanks' booth.
'World of Tanks' is set to hit PS4 next year with two PS4-exclusive maps.
