During Tokyo Game Show 2016, Capcom revealed a whole host of news for the upcoming survival horror game 'Resident Evil VII'. Beginning with a new trailer giving us our first major look at the game's antagonists which you can check out right here:
Next up, it was revealed that 'Beginning Hour' demo, released during E3 exclusively to PS Plus subscribers, is receving an update later today. The 'Twilight' version will allow players to explore more of the demo's mansion setting, and will be avaliable to all PS4 users. The demo has been downloaded over 3 million times from its original version alone, so it'll be interesting to see just how many people go for it now that it'll be more widely available.
Finally, the Deluxe Edition of the game, previously made available to pre-order for $80, has received an upgrade. Where it previously contained the game and a season pass containing two extra story chapters, it will now include an addition third chapter, bumping the price to $90. Those who have already pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition will receive these upgrades at no extra cost.
All pre-orders will net players a Survival Pack containing consumable healing items, an early unlock of the Madhouse difficulty setting, a Lucky Coin in-game defense item, and a dynamic PS4 theme.
'Resident Evil VII' will be released on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on January 24th, 2017.
