Players who clear the alpha receive free DLC.
Today, Koei Tecmo has announced that 'Nioh', set for release this year, will be getting an alpha demo released worldwide from April 26th to May 5th. Players who clear the demo will unlock DLC in the full game (as a note, the PlayStation Blog announcement posts lists this DLC as 'Mark of the Conqueror', whereas the description of the new trailer calls it 'Overlord' DLC). This is looking absolutely fantastic. I'm incredibly excited to see this finally release after having been announced 10 years ago. Here's hoping we hear a more concrete release date soon.
