'Madden' again picks against the Seahawks.
Last year, EA had to feel pretty good about their 'Madden' simulated Super Bowl pick. Coming off of an 8 out 10 record for correctly simulating Super Bowl winners, the 2014 simulation had the Broncos winning out. (Oops.) Fast forward to this year's Super Bowl week, and 'Madden 15' once again has the Seahawks walking away as losers.
This simulation was done on a Xbox One with updated rosters and had the Patriots scoring early and often with Tom Brady earning the MVP nod after a 335 yard, 4-touchdown performance. Brady to Edelman was the game winning play, but it was Brady to Earl Thomas III in a pick six that gave the Seahawks half-time lead. The Patriots won in spite of a 118 yard, 2 touchdown effort by Marshawn Lynch. Controversies such as deflate gate or beast mode touchdown celebrations did not appear to figure in the result.
So 'Madden 15' has the Patriots winning on the last drive; the real game, of course, is this Sunday.
