From motorbikes to fighter planes to honest-to-goodness tanks.
'Battlefield 1,' the first-person shooter from DICE that takes place during World War I, closed out publisher EA's E3 conference this afternoon, and a new gameplay trailer shows audiences that it wasn't all trench warfare during the Great War.
During the presentation, EA focused on a handful of gameplay elements. After assuring audiences that the trademark 'Battlefield' degree of level destruction would still be in place during World War I, the presenters talked about mechanics like dynamically changing weather that will make sure each battle feels unique. They also mentioned 'behemoth vehicles,' likely referring to the giant tanks and zeppelins that can be seen lumbering across the map in the gameplay footage.
