Bethesda heavily supporting its 2015 flagship.
Bethesda has recently announced that the Survival Mode in 'Fallout 4' will be receiving a massive overhaul to keep it in line with the mode seen in 'New Vegas'. In 'Fallout 4', this mode sees a basic bump in difficulty, but nothing more, whereas in 'New Vegas', the mode saw players having to monitor fatigue, hunger, etc. Many players mourned the lack of these features, but Bethesda has confirmed they will be making a return. Stating that "We’re also doing a complete overhaul of Fallout 4 Survival mode. Food, sleep, diseases, danger and more. Stay tuned." Additionally, the studio spoke about DLC, stating "We know you’re ready to learn what’s coming for Fallout 4 DLC. We’re not far off, and we think you’ll be excited."
While this mode isn't really my thing, it's a shame it wasn't in the base game, so it's nice to see that it'll be getting added into the game soon enough. As for DLC, I wanna see more before I say whether or not I'm excited for it, but regardless, the free updates they're adding are definitely nice. Now we just need that console mod support.
