Internet Archive Windows 3.1 News

Peer into one of the PC's oddest eras.

The Internet Archive, having previously made DOS games available to play in-browser, has now done the same with games from Windows 3.1. A time in history where PCs were almost exclusively reserved for work, so PC gaming was in a bizarre ghetto that you can now experience in great detail with over 1000 playable games.

There's a ton of baffling games here, but there's some genuine quality to be found here. If nothing else, it's a great look into one of the stranger eras in gaming memory, so it's worth checking out on that measure alone. I'm a big fan of preserving older games like this, so I'm really happy about what Internet Archive has been doing.
