Get a Closer Look at 'Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak'

A new take on a classic franchise.

Today, Blackbird Interactive has released a developer diary for 'Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak', the ground-based RTS prequel to the classic 'Homeworld' series. The video shows of precisely how different 'Deserts of Kharak' looks from its predecessors, while still maintaining a level of faithfulness to the franchise.

It's looking quite sharp here, and considering the talent behind it (the studio is made up of 'Homeworld' and 'Company of Heroes' veterans), this should be worth a look when it releases on January 20th. Pre-ordering the game via Steam will net you the 'Homeworld Remastered Collection for free.
