Two more weapons hitting multiplayer tonight.
The North American Splatfest was delayed last weekend until July 4th, which was probably for the best since everybody was still nursing an E3 hangover last Saturday, and celebrating Independence Day by invading a foreign invader's territory in the name of taking over their natural resources seems delightfully perfect. Regardless, the delay will see players going into Splatfest with a couple of new toys: A new Ink Roller and a new Squelcher.
The Carbon Roller sacrifices ink-flinging distance for mobility, which makes it sound like the perfect middle ground between the Roller and the Inkbrush. It uses Burst Bombs and the Inkzooka for specials, so, prepare for it to become a Ranked Battle mainstay instantly. The Dual Squelcher, on the other hand, has the usual badass range and fire rate, but gives you Beakons and the Killer Wail for specials.
Both weapons will go live tonight when the game updates at 7 PM PST/10 PM EST. Stay fresh, kids.
