Hoo boy.
Thanks entirely to Nintendo's negligence shrewdness when it comes to drumming up support for their high in demand products, the appearance of the NES Classic out in the wild for its actual MSRP is now an event in and of itself. And this week, Best Buy is going to play host to said event.
The NES Classic will be available in "limited qualities" this coming Tuesday at the retailer, according to reports from BGR, and indeopendently confirmed by Gamespot. The rundown is that it'll be handled like Black Friday, with tickets being handed out to customers in as much quantity as they'll actually have in stock. How many that'll be, who knows. They will not be giving that quantity over the phone. In a righteous world, there will be plenty and not, as many retailers saw the day the system launched, a paltry two or three.
Either way, anyone looking to nail down that final Christmas gift, here's your moment.
May the odds be ever in your favor.
