Nintendo at E3.
During it's traditional developer roundtable following the first day of E3, Nintendo revealed Pac-Man as a playable character in the new 'Super Smash Bros.' 3DS and Wii U games.
Multiple outlets are reporting it right now, but according to Kotaku, this version of Pac-Man transforms into his old-school self for certain attacks, has a dash move involving the enjestion of pellets and can cycle through fruits for some other kind of attack.
That little snippet at the end isn't exactly a confirmation of another character. Remember, it didn't say something clever about Mr. Game & Watch joining the battle.
Nintendo also noted of roughly 33 playable characters in the game.
