Look, they got an announcement trailer and everything.
After a couple of premature leaks, Nintendo has announced, during an all-too-brief 'Pokemon'-based Direct presentation, that two new full-blown 'Pokemon' titles will be headed to the 3DS late this year.
There's also an announcement trailer, though hopefully you're not holding your breath for details. Mostly, it's a retrospective touting the series' 20th (jeez....) anniversary, and the fact that the new game will be available worldwide, in nine different languages at launch, which is nifty.
It's a pretty safe bet we'll be hearing the true particulars sometime around E3. For right now, though, there's plenty of other ways to get your Pokemon on before the new games launch. Tomorrow, 2/27, is the exact 20th anniversary, and 'Pokemon Red', 'Blue', and 'Yellow' are being released to the Nintendo eShop to celebrate. In addition, 'Pokken Tournament' will be hitting in a couple of weeks on March 18th.
