'Minecraft Pocket Edition' And 'Windows 10 Edition' Version 1.0 Brings The Ender Dragon

'Minecraft Pocket Edition' and 'Minecraft Windows 10 Edition' will both soon receive their version 1.0 patches, adding a new dimension and boss mob to the two ports.

Once version 1.0 launches, players will be able to journey to The End and face off against the Ender Dragon, giving players who prefer adventuring over construction a new endgame to look forward to.

Version 1.0 also increases the world height in these two ports to 256 blocks, giving the construction-minded a bit more leeway to expand their dream builds.

Developer Mojang notes that the version 1.0 update contains much more content than what was announced but declined to go any further with details.
