Though Windows 10 and Pocket Edition players aren't totally left out of the Halloween festivities.
Two new DLC packs are now available for console version of 'Minecraft,' one celebrating the spooky season and the other celebrating an iconic franchise making its resurgence this year.
The Halloween 2015 Mash-up Pack adds 43 skins, new music and a texture pack to 'Minecraft' on both Sony and Microsoft systems. With this pack, players can download a new spooky aesthetic and run around their 'Minecraft' worlds as the Grim Reaper, the Swamp Monster, and a number of other holiday-appropriate baddies.
Also out now is the Star Wars Prequel Skin Pack, containing more than 50 character skins from Star Wars Episodes 1–3. Whether you want explore your 'Minecraft' worlds as heroes like Qui-Gon Jinn and Mace Windu, villains like General Grievous and Darth Maul, or super minor characters like that time in Attack of the Clones when a battle droid's head was put on C-3PO's body, this new pack should satisfy your Star Wars side.
Windows 10 and Pocket Edition 'Minecraft' players shouldn't feel left out, though. For those two platforms, Mojang is releasing the Halloween Costume Pack, which includes 15 skins that, instead of completely changing your character model, make it look like your character is wearing a 'Minecraft'-themed costume. These outfits include a Creeper costume, an Enderman costume, and several others.
