New update even adds two new tracks
The launch of 'DriveClub' had to be one of the most disappointing PS4 events of the year. The game's online was so broken that Evolution Studios had to take all of the online game options off the table, and Sony indefinitely suspended the release of the free PlayStation Plus version. While the free version continues to reside in Limbo (2015 at the earliest), the retail game has leveled up quite a bit. Not only is the online to the point of a normal functioning state, but a new patch has added dynamic weather (offline and online play) as well as two new tracks, Atlanterhavsvegen in Norway and Sinclair Pass in Canada. Another big patch is due this month, but the game is already a different story from launch. Many fans cite the straightforward nature of cars and circuit races along with the per car detail as a reason to embrace 'DriveClub.'
Today, Amazon has 'DriveClub' for only $34.99 (42% off the normal price, order here).
