New gen or bust.
Though it can be kind of an ongoing oddity, there are still lots of users waiting to play 'Grand Theft Auto V' for the first time. The PS4 and Xbox One versions have combined for "nearly 10 million untis" in retail sales out of a whopping 45 million total thus far (again this is to retailers via Take-Two). Even with these numbers, there is still more to come. Many users are likely waiting for the March 24th PC release date, while many others remain poised to take their first Xbox One/PS4 plunge into Rockstar's latest and most ambitious title. (Check out the review here.) That could change today.
Right now, both the Xbox One and PS4 versions are on sale for $39.99 (33% off the normal price, order here.) This price may not last, especially since Rockstar seems to have finally gotten serious about releasing the long-awaited online heists.
