Bioware going full next gen from here on out.
If you're one of those unfortunate stragglers who hasn't abandoned ship to a next-gen console yet, Bioware's just cued up the string trio for you. The developer has just issued a blog post stating that all future DLC for 'Dragon Age: Inquisition' will be current-gen only. That is to say, Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
The announcement comes as part of a much larger post in which, to help ease the transition to a next-gen system Bioware announced a Save Importer for the game, in which previous-gen owners can bring their 'DA:I' saves over from their old systems. There's a few minor catches to it, the biggest one being that saves wont cross platform lines--i.e., 360 saves can only go to Xbox One, PS3 to PS4--but it's otherwise pretty straightforward. The message, however, is crystal clear. Time to trade up, folks.
