'Grey Goo' Gets a New Faction as Part of the Free 'Descent of the Shroud' Update

'Grey Goo' the sharp and fun sci-fi RTS from Petroglyph and Grey Box, is getting free DLC and a new price. The new and free update, 'Descent of the Shroud,' adds a new faction, the Shroud, which as described is "an enigmatic species that grows its units and structures, one which now threatens all life on Ecosystem 9."

The Shroud is playable in multiplayer and in skirmish mode, but the update also in includes a new single-player campaign mission, which occurs after the main story and introduces the Shroud as a new enemy.

With this free update to all versions of the game, 'Grey Goo' is being relaunched on Steam as 'Grey Goo Definitive Edition' at a price of $29.99. This version will include the base game and new free DLC, and it will also have last summer's DLC Campaign 'Emergence' and complete soundtrack.
