'Street Fighter V' Announces 2017 Character Pass Release Date With Akuma Reveal Trailer

2017 will also bring five totally new fighters.

We've known that longtime 'Street Fighter' character Akuma would be joining the roster of 'Street Fighter V' for about a month now, but now Capcom has pulled back the curtain on his reveal trailer and introduced him as the headliner of the 2017 Character Pass, a DLC bundle that adds six new characters to the game.

The 2017 Character Pass for 'Street Fighter V' will launch December 20 for $29.99. The fighter bundle includes Akuma as well as five brand-new fighters that will be added over the course of 2017. The bundle also comes with a collection of fighter costumes and colors, plus a special theme for PS4 players.
