More announcements coming soon
At Bandai Namco's Gamers' Day event in Las Vegas, Bandai Namco had new info and footage to show off from a slew of their new titles hitting fall of this year, three of which we can share now.
First up is 'Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4', which is due this fall. The game will have around 100 characters, including characters and scenarios from 'The Last: Naruto The Movie' which broke all sorts of box office records in Japan. The game will also be doing quite a bit to take the fighting franchise more vertical than ever before, with a special emphasis on being able to fight on walls this time around. The game will be strictly next-gen, going to PS4, XBox One, and Steam only.
Next up: 'Project X Zone 2', a sequel to the 3DS-exclusive tactical RPG, bringing characters from Capcom, Sega, and Bandai Namco all together to fight their way out of an alternate dimension. The first trailer doesn't include actual gameplay footage, but does have a glimpse at a few of the new characters, including Strider Hiryu from the Capcom side, Hotsuma from Sega's way-underrated PS2 'Shinobi' reboot, and Kazuya Mishima from Bandai Namco's own 'Tekken' series.
Lastly, is 'Saint Seiya: Soldier's Soul', a new fighting title with elements based off of the newly launched season of the anime. Special emphasis was made to show off the new aerial combat, as well as the new facial animation, which, combined with the PS4's power, makes the game look much much closer to living anime than ever before. The game will be on PS4, PS4, and Steam, with the PS4 and Steam ports running at a full 1080p, 60fps.
There was plenty more to show off from Gamer's Day, including some hands-on impressions which we'll be able to share this coming Wednesday. Watch this space.
