Because there's a trailer for that.
While the announcement that the remastered 'Call of Duty 4' would be hitched irrevocably to the back of 'Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare's Legacy Editio went down with no small amount of wailing and gnashing of teeth, Activision, bless their hearts, is still keeping hope alive that maybe they can still soothe some of the venom the old fashioned way: by supplying some more of that sweet, sweet eye candy.
To wit, they've released a new trailer for the remaster. Well, less a trailer, and more just the entirety of the game's second mission, "Crew Expendable", playing out in glorious 1080p, 60fps, over the course of about seven minutes. If there's one area Activision has yet to let anyone down as far as 'Call of Duty' goes, it's in the visuals, and the amount of improved details and clarity here is just stunning. So, have a look at the goods below, and think long and hard about whether that $80 investment is worth your while just yet.
