Don't Throw Out Those Launch PS4s, "Every PS4 Will Be HDR Capable"

Huge for the HDR movement.
After announcing the 4K and HDR capable PS4 Pro, (see here), and the replacement, "Slim" PS4 (see here), Sony followed with its long dormat weapon. That would be an HDR update to all existing PS4s.
Earlier in the presentation, Mark Cerny made the point that HDR wasn't hardware tacing in the way that 4K is. With the announced update, Sony will prove a committment to delivering HDR gameplay.
