Friend Referral Program Coming To 'Destiny' Just In Time For The Holidays

Show your friends you care by getting them hooked on a video game this holiday season.

'Destiny' will soon be implementing a friend referral program, developer Bungie announced.

More than a year after the shooter's original launch, Bungie seems to be trying to give a boost to the 'Destiny' player base by giving current players incentive to get their friends to come on board. This system, called Refer-a-Friend, doesn't have many solid details yet, though Bungie said more information is coming soon.

The developer said that the new program should be arriving in time for the holiday season, meaning existing players should have plenty of friends with new copies of the game or shiny new consoles that are ripe for referring.
