The German audio company is making a return to the US with new entry-level speakers.
Elac has announced a new series of audio products for the US market. The Debut collection is designed by Andrew Jones and consists of five speaker models and three subwoofer models.
"The ELAC Debut series delivers superior performance thanks to custom made key components, with no off-the-shelf parts. Unlike many more expensive speakers that mix parts-bin drivers, bare-bones crossovers and generic cabinets—every ELAC speaker is built from a clean-sheet design," said Andrew Jones.
The passive speaker lineup includes the 5.25-inch B5 Bookshelf Speaker ($229 per pair), the 6.5-inch B6 Bookshelf Speaker ($279 per pair), the 5.25-inch F5 Floorstanding Speaker ($279 each), the 5.25-inch C5 Center Speaker ($179 each), and the 4-inch A4 Dolby Atmos Add-On Speaker ($229 per pair.) Meanwhile, the powered subwoofer collection includes the 10-inch 200-watt S10 Subwoofer ($249), the 10-inch 400-watt S10EQ Subwoofer ($499), and the 12-inch 1,000-watt S12EQ Subwoofer ($699).
An exact release date for the Debut Series has not been announced.
