The company has traced the history of its smart TV lineup. 

Though still relatively new to the market, smart TVs have now become a pretty essential standard in the home theater world. To celebrate the recent release of their latest Ultra HD and SUHD smart TVs, Samsung is taking a look back at the models that came before. 

From 2008 until 2015, the below graphic chronicles the rise of the smart TV, covering the evolution of internet apps, Wi-Fi connections, USB media, processing power, news feeds, streaming, shared content, social networking, voice control, and motion control right on your living room display.

Samsung's new 2015 Ultra HD lineup is now available, including models powered by the Tizen smart TV platform.
