Canvas Audio Details New Audiostand for LG OLED TVs

The device is designed to serve as an OLED TV stand and HiFi speaker in one.

Canvas Audio has announced the launch of crowdfunding pre-orders for its new Canvas Audiostand. Customers can now reserve the 55-inch model for $999 and the 65-inch model for $1,099.

The Canvas Audiostand is compatible with LG OLED B Series (2016, 2017, 2018, 2019) and C Series (2017, 2018, 2019) TVs in 55-inch and 65-inch screen sizes. The unit offers a one-box solution that serves as both a stand and speaker for the display, offering support for a stereo image of 10-12 feet. Under the hood, the Canvas features an AD 300 MIPS quad-core DSP with BACCH 3D filter, along with 2 x High End SB Acoustics long excursion 6" drivers for bass/midrange and 2 x High End SB Acoustics ring radiator drivers with non-resonant rear chambers as tweeters.

Likewise, the device is powered by a 4 Channel HiFi, combined 200 Watt RMS amplifier and is rated for a frequency response of 30 Hz - 20,000 Hz. Connectivity options include AirPlay 2, Chromecast, Bluetooth, Toslink, and HDMI (ARC). Finally, users can also choose from a variety of interchangeable magnetic covers in different colors.
