The new portable speaker features True360 sound and a rechargeable battery.
B&O Play has announced the launch of the BeoPlay A2. The new Bluetooth speaker is geared toward portable and outdoor use.
The BeoPlay A2 measures 1.7 x 5.6 x 10.1 inches and weighs 2.4 lb. The speaker uses 2x3" full-range drivers, 2x3/4" tweeter, and 2x3" passive bass radiators, and offers 180 W peak power provided by 2x30 W digital class D amplifiers. In addition, the device features Power Response Enhancement technology with two channels on each side to deliver True360 audio in all directions. Finally, a rechargeable Li-ion battery for up to 24 hours of playback is included as well.
Suggested retail price for the BeoPlay A2 is $399 and the speaker is now available from BeoPlay.com and select retail stores.
