'Assassin's Creed Syndicate' Coming Late to PC, Now Set for November

Assassin's Creed Syndicate PC news

Less than a month delay at present.

After months of quiet, Ubisoft has shared some important details for the PC version of 'Assassin's Creed Syndicate.' Of key importance is the release date, November 19th, less than one month after the October 23rd date for the PS4 and Xbox One versions. A late-coming PC version is nothing new for the 'Assassin's Creed' series, but the reason cited is a desire for PC optimization and stability.

From Sam Kovalev, Studio Production Manager at Ubisoft Kiev, "We have introduced several new improvements to our production pipeline and validation process, which allowed us to focus on polishing, stabilizing and optimizing the PC version very early on in the project. This has been one of the top priorities for the production team this year. The additional four weeks are for us to really bear down and finalize all of the polish and optimization, to make sure the game and all of its systems are stable when it launches, so it runs smoothly for all players starting on day one."

Though there does seem to be some important focus on the PC version, with less than three months to go, there is not yet an official list of PC requirements. The target for the PC version is 1080p at 30fps, however, the game won't be limited to these numbers. Hopefully, the extra wait time will pay off.
