Those in the Windows 8 beta will also receive a Xbox One beta key.
'Project Spark' has moved into a closed beta on Windows 8.1, and those that signed up for the beta began receiving their keys last week. The craft your own game experience will be coming to the Xbox One in beta form in February, and amazingly it looks like beta users will wind up with extra keys.
Those that use or have used their beta key in Windows 8.1 will be able to access the beta on the Xbox One by signing in with the same Microsoft account. At the same time, when the Xbox One beta begins, those already in the Windows 8 beta, will receive a Xbox One key. This means that there ought to be some 115,000+ spare keys available for those interested in diving into the game.
From Project Spark, "Project Spark Xbox One closed beta begins in February. If you have a Windows 8 beta key, it will also give you access to the Xbox One beta. If you are in the Windows 8 beta, you will automatically have access to the Xbox One beta when it starts. If you gave away your Project Spark beta key, don't worry, we have you covered and will be sending everyone a second key when Xbox One beta begins."
Of course, 'Project Spark' is built around content packs, which are being sold during the beta. Fortunately, content packs and content created during the beta will carry over once the game is released.
